Pay Less For Storage was founded in 2001. Since then we’ve provided storage for large organisations including the NHS and Northumbria Police as well as helping hundreds of families store their furniture before moving to new homes.

FAQs for our Durham storage units
We have 2 sizes available.
A 20ft shipping container that is the size of your average household garage. And a 10ft shipping container that is half that size.

Unlike other storage companies we don’t make you buy a lock to store with us.
We provide a heavy duty lock for your storage container.
There is a £50 key deposit – but you get that refunded when you return the lock & key to us at the end of your time storing with us.
When you store with us – access to your storage unit is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Office hours are by appointment only.
To reserve a storage container call us on 0191 300 65 65 to enquire about availability.
We will then send you an email to setup payment – we’ll ask you to sign our T&Cs and give us your contact details.
After that you’ll be able to move in whenever you’re ready.
Let us know when you’ve moved out of your storage unit and we’ll refund you for any storage you’ve not used that month.
There are no minimum notice periods. No paying for storage that you haven’t used.
We do our best to keep it simple for our customers.
